Guardian assisted with both the first and second mortgage funding for this well-known commercial building whose tenants include IBM and the Gold Coast City Council. Investors received 14% per annum on their funds and all capital and interest was returned when the complex was sold for $23M.
This residential complex was one of the first developments in Varsity Lakes comprising a mix of two and three bedroom apartments overlooking Market Square and close to Bond University. Guardian was instrumental in assisting the developer with funding, project management and sale of the individual apartments.

Infrastructure fees hammer development in Queensland
The fees came back at $9600 for a new 1280sq m office warehouse on 2370sq m of land. We then lodged again after June for our property next door same-sized block of land and identical-sized building. Under the new pricing regime infrastructure fees became $63,000!
